The development of this workbook all started with funding from the Research!America Public Engagement Content Award. This funding allowed me to start creating a curriculum that would help public engagement practitioners. Originally, this content was presented in a workshop format, but time constraints made it difficult to cover everything I wanted to cover! Thus, the idea for this workbook was born.Â
In this first edition of the workbook, you will find:
Introduction: What is evaluation and why should you do it?
Chapter 1: Identifying goals
Chapter 2: Writing evaluation questions
Chapter 3: Identifying data sources and planning data collection
Chapter 4: Creating data collection instruments
Chapter 5: Analyzing and interpreting data
Chapter 6: Using your findings
